SilO is an agricultural silo for farming. It uses artificial intelligence to increase productivity while reducing energy consumption. The aim is to make buildings and plant technology part of the energy system and integrate them intelligently into production processes. So far, development in this area has only included standardised platforms for optimising industrial processes. There are currently very few design approaches for this type of hardware.

SilO is part of a comprehensive patent for the protection of essential design ideas out of the design research of the Zukunftsbackstube.
