Tart II is an agricultural hybrid for farming. Using artificial intelligence to increase crop yield productivity while reducing energy consumption. The aim is to make building structures and plant technology part of the energy system and integrate them smartly into agricultural production processes.
So far, development in this area has only included standardised platforms for optimising industrial or agricultural processes. There are hardly any design approaches for this type of hardware yet.
Increased intensity of use through ecological densification. The properties of the individual building layers result in a hybrid overall performance. By shifting the layers, the self-sufficiency of the building hybrid can be optimised for summer and winter.
This is not an urban landscape, but rather smart agriculture.
The gross floor area corresponds to a football field of 7,140 square metres. Sixfold densification results in a gross floor area of 42,840 square metres.
