Space Worm is an urban playmate from the tube and a special kind of spatial delicacy from the Zukunftsbackstube.
It interacts with public space and offers useful and practical functions. Consisting of ten repeating elements, it can always take on different forms and is transformable.
It can also dive below the surface and disappear, reappear in any location and take on a different form. In doing so, it can always take on different functions.
Endlessly expandable and adaptable, it is versatile and robust in use. For example, it can serve as a structural design for smaller buildings, such as railway stations and bus stops. In this way, it seeks out its spaces and appears temporarily or permanently wherever it is needed.
