A study from Silicon Valley has shown that flexible working arrangements can have such a positive impact on work-life balance that an increase in economic productivity would yield significant annual benefits.
As well as an hour’s rest at lunchtime, a balanced work-life balance might also include, for example, the well-known 15-minute afternoon nap.

The NapCab from Zukunftsbackstube is a cosy capsule. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a short afternoon nap.
It offers space for two flexible sleeping areas. The integrated loungers are modelled on the design of the Cassina LC4 Corbusier lounger. Thanks to up and down adjusters, they can be moved far enough to allow access to the NapCab.
In addition, ambient lighting and background sounds can be adjusted.

Incidentally, it is also reminiscent of the ‘Mind Expanders’ used by Viennese pop groups in the 1960s.
