When an artificial neural network is confronted with emotions, this means that it must learn to recognise natural behaviours associated with human feelings or tastes in order to be able to deal with them in the future.
It is important to note that artificial neural networks do not have human emotions or mental states that enable them to feel and experience feelings, smells or tastes. However, they can be trained to learn specific tasks and recognise patterns that are associated with and resemble natural human behaviours.
