Lasagne is a self-sufficient building design with a clever climate design.
Two split-level spirals placed inside each other create a flowing layout and promote circulating air convection for a natural building climate.
The building structure of Lasagne from the Future Bakery is based on the same principle as the structure of a lasagne in a baking dish, which retains as much heat as possible.
With a regular distribution of open and closed areas, it creates a balanced relationship between the interior and exterior of the building envelope and can be optimised in terms of solar thermal energy.
